I upgraded from Lucid to Maverick using update-manager -d. After the
upgrade gnome-power-manager did not work.
Running on the command line:
$ gnome-power-manager
gnome-power-manager: error while loading shared libraries:
libappindicator.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
gnome-power-manager is looking for libappindicator.so.0 AND
libappindicator.so.1
$ ldd /usr/local/bin/gnome-power-manager
