Jaunty reaches End of life in 23 october 2010, so i acconseil you to upgrade to
Lucid.
Do a full update of your system, then
Go to System - Administration - Software sources, click on Updates tag, click
on normal releases button and select only Long Term Support releases, close.
open Update Manager, click on verify, click on upgrade
