For my new tv i want to copy an movie (*.avi) and the subtitle (*.srt)
to a 2gb usb stick.
Both are copied to the usb drive and seem ok. (tested the movie and
subtitle)
After removing the usb stick (using the "save remove option")
and mounting the usb stick again, the *.srt file is unreadable, and i cannot
open it.
before unmounting i see normal text in the icon, after remount i see garbled
characters in icon
This happens with all *.srt files tested. tried with txt files, these are ok.
format the usb stick did not help, formated on ubuntu and on windows.
I think this is strange but I cannot resolve it my self
