No, I have not tried to install medibuntu. I forgot MP4 is not a free protocol. But I acted like a newbie who checks system on Ubuntu CD before installing. I usually advise to newbies to test with a live session if Ubuntu works on their hardware, and I imagine than in this case I will get the same question I asked. So my problem is more a newbie need a message telling him he needs to have installed medibuntu (and how to do it automatically). I know it looks stupid, but newbie don't know about such issues. For me this issue has a low priority. It's more a detail.
