Public bug reported:
when the kde splashscreen shows the last logo and its half faded in,
linux-2.6.35-22 panics. i do not know any errormessage, because the
screen just hangs. but caps-lock is blinking.
at first, i thought its the nvidia-driver and tested the official
nvidia-driver and then nouveau. it happens with all three.
with a blank new kde profile it doesn't happen, too. i do not know what
my kde profile does, because i even disabled compositing with vim in
kwinrc.
