Public bug reported: I got a Eee Top et1610pt with Windows preinstalled. I plugged in earphones when in windows first installation process (because of annoying music from speaker). I shot down the computer and installed Ubuntu 10.04 and only sound from headphones works. Speakers don't work when earphones are unplugged. The solution is this: hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x15 SET_EAPD_BTLENABLE 0x2 That makes sound behave normally.
