Here is what causes the error:
2007-04-02 18:30:06,420 ERROR got an error from dpkg for pkg:
'/var/cache/apt/archives/samba_3.0.24-2ubuntu1_i386.deb': 'subprocess
new post-removal script returned error exit status 134
Unfortunately the kde version of the upgrader does not support capturing
the terminal output in a logfile.
