Hi, I'm one of the upstream authors, the -geometry command line setting is buggy, see the SourceForge bug about that.
the "-M pda" or "-M car" command line options are your best bet. gpsdrive 2.11 and newer: if you like the normal mode, the trick to getting it to fit on the screen is to go into the preferences and turn off some of the left-side buttons that you don't use. once the buttons are gone it will shrink. also you can use some keyboard shortcuts to toggle off the dashboard at the bottom and the left-hand sidebar. Also you can switch between icons, icons and text, text only to make the buttons smaller. In the development version (2.12svn) you get even more control over this. (see http://download.osgeo.org/livedvd/data/gpsdrive/ for modern 2.11 for modern ubuntu) regards, Hamish (happily using it on a 7" eeePC) -- GPSDrive unusable on Asus EEE https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351375 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
