Binary package hint: deluge
I'm testing MM beta (plus latest updates) on a laptop system. im running
a torrent client (Deluge 1.30.rc?) nightly, and lately i've noticed that
after running for several hours (or somethimes just after a few minutes,
see below), the torrent client becomes unresponsive, the memory starts
filling up rapidly, and the swap space eventually also gets filled to
around 80% of capacity. also, at the time when the memory starts leaking
(i suspect), this is repeatedly printed in the console:
Sep 25 11:15:14 peter-laptop kernel: [ 3947.108209] possible SYN
flooding on port <deluge port>. Sending cookies.
I am unable to determine if these syn floods are due to a poor remote
torrent client or due to an attack. I suspect it may be the latter.
