Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 10.10 RC
libwxgtk2.8-0 2.8.11.0-0ubuntu4, python-wxgtk2.8-0 2.8.11.0-0ubuntu4

I use a python program that makes use of the MediaCtrl class. Since
upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10 RC, the program fails to start and throws the
following error instead:

File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/media.py", line
96, in __init__
    _media.MediaCtrl_swiginit(self,_media.new_MediaCtrl(*args, **kwargs))
NotImplementedError

According to http://programming.itags.org/python/49919/ this may mean
that wxwidgets is compiled without gstreamer and/or gconf support.

If I roll back libwxgtk2.8 and python-wxgtk2.8 to the Lucid versions,
the problem does not occur.
