I can confirm this issue personally and an marking this bug as Triaged,
because I've opened an upstream task, and setting the importance to
Medium since this affects a core applications that is a vital part of
Ubuntu's differentness.
When you've received a reply, Gwibber will place an entry for that reply in the
Messaging Menu. When you press the entry for a reply in the Messaging Menu,
Gwibber should be made visible and show you that reply. However, the issue is
that when you're using multiple streams in Gwibber, all streams will be removed
when you press the reply.
The whole window will be one stream: Replies. Previously present other streams
will be gone.
