Public bug reported:
I just tried Maverick RC and found this bug. If I try to shutdown my notebook,
everything seems to go smoothly, but right after the computer shuts down it
reboots immediately. It's definitely not a clean restart, because the power on
led turns down for a second and the fan is turning down as well, but right
after that the computer reboots again.
I tried with Ubuntu 10.10 RC and Beta and Kubuntu 10.10 RC. It's happening on
LiveCD's as well. I also tried "sudo shutdown -h now" from terminal, but I had
the same issue. Ubuntu 10.04.1 and Win7 working fine on the same computer, and
there are no related ACPI settings on the bios. The only one slightly related
to this is network boot, but it's disabled.
