Just updated to 10.10. and tryin to use unity on the thinkpad t42, The
normal gnome desktop works well, the unr 2d comes up with ugly fat font
and icons painted over another. The unr profile dims out gdm, turns
black and give me a pointer. Nothing else than a solid black screen, no
funcion in corners, no panels, no alt-f2 works there. Switching to
another console is not working at this point.
