Hey Omer, Thanks for getting back in touch on this.
I think that I issued that bug a long time ago. I am now running 10.04lts. I think that bug was in 9.10 but I don't really remember at this point. Also, with the end of the summer, my real life has cranked into high gear, so I can't really devote much time to this. I'm afraid my window to work on this has passed. Thanks so much for all the work you do on this open source platform. I very much appreciate it. I would pike to be more helpful on this bug, but it has faded in my memory. When installed this way, the icon for gimp does not show up in the applications menu. I removed gimp, navigated to gimp via the software-center menu system, and installed. The icon then showed up just fine. > > Thought you all ought to know. > > Thanks for all the great work you all do. > > Bill > > To unsubscribe from this bug, go to: > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/588855/+subscribe -- Icon does not appear in apps menu when installed via search https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588855 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
