Neil made a fix in -0ubuntu4 which has been uploaded last Friday (elipses) as a
workaround. I agree the bug still need design perspective for that as it's only
a temporary fix.
That way, we can track a new bug for that issue in Natty I guess.
I would ask first if this wokaround worked for the user with latest version.
@Nils: please use reportbug unity for filing bugs on launchpad, this way, we
can know which version of unity you are using. Can you confirm that
0.2.46-0ubuntu4 fixes the issue for you?
(it's already confirmed in spanish and french).
