Binary package hint: gdm
After log in at the gdm screen my screen flashes and I'm immediately
returned to the gdm login screen. This happens regardless of the number
of times that I login. The only way I'm able to use my desktop
environment is by stopping gdm, sudo service gdm stop, and typing startx
in a console.
