Hi,
Sorry I don't think it's the software centre actually... My whole
system is behaving rather strangely, and I rather think I've broken
it... Lots of weird stuff going on such as ridiculous proliferation
of untitled window bars along the bottom of the screen (about 150)
and being unable to use any of the visual filesystem stuff - whatever
the gnome equivalent of 'finder' is called seems to be completely
inoperable.
Thankfully I'm not in a desperate hurry to use this computer, which
is why I plumbed for the 10.10 beta... As I think this is probably
something I've done, so I'm planning on reinstalling, unless you
think otherwise and want any data from it?
