I don't see any need for this patch. And I don't see, why Ubuntu should work another way than all other distros at SysRq. Also there seems to be a general problem with SysRq. 'cat /proc/sys/kernel/sysrq' returns 0 on my installation and that should deactivate SysRq's at all, but it don't. Could this be a sideeffect of the patch?
