Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: shotwell
One would expect that "Move to Trash" would move a file to Gnome's
Trash. However, this is not the case. It's not obvious that it's moved
to Trash within Shotwell, especially when a lot of tags are present and
the Trash section is all the way at the bottom of the list.
