Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: apt-listchanges
After upgrading from lucid to maverick, apt-listchanges no longer honors the
pager=gtk setting in /etc/apt/listchanges.conf (attached), at least when run
from update-manager (haven't tested plain aptitude yet, will do when next
update becomes available). It displays the changes in $PAGER, which means
update manager will wait until you click on details and exit less. The
dependencies for pager=gtk indicated in the man page are installed, and it used
to work in lucid:
ii python-glade2 2.21.0-0ubuntu GTK+ bindings: Glade support
ii python-gtk2 2.21.0-0ubuntu Python bindings for the GTK+ widget set
