Not sure if this should be reported as a separate bug but it is certainly
*very* similar:
on maverick (beta), with dual monitor setup where monitors have slightly
different sizes, when a window is placed near the edge of a "bigger"
(pixel-wise) screen, it starts to wobble alternately snapping to the real edge
of the screen and to an invisible line a centimeter or so away from the edge.

This started after a recent update when support for screens with
different resolutions was re-enabled.

compiz:
  Installed: 1:0.8.6-0ubuntu9

xorg:
  Installed: 1:7.5+6ubuntu3
