Public bug reported:

After upgrading to Maverick wireless is disabled. The enable wireless
option in network manager applet is greyed out.

I tried bug #637930 fix, with no luck.

Looking around I found that in
/var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state the Wireless Enabled option
is set to false. I changed it to true, but after restarting network
manager it was set on false again.

Maybe the problem isn't in network manager, because I tried connecting
with Wicd but it has the same problem.

Any help would be very appreciated!

Pablo
