The attached patch also fixes Bug #102391, clamsmtp: config files uses obsolete scanheader option.
The Debian provided init file attempted to create a PID file when starting clamsmtp. This does not succeed nor is is required for clamsmtp to run (tested on a current Feisty server with Postfix). Since the PID file didn't exist, specifying it as part of stopping the daemon cause the stop to fail. Removed reference to the PID file for both stop and start. Buillt and tested on i386. ** Attachment added: "Patch for fixes" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7130532/clamsmtp_1.8.patch -- Clamsmtp init script fails to stop clamsmtp https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102470 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
