Update: I closed Rhythmbox and open it again. After this, Rhythmbox shows that the download is in enqueued and then shows it progress.
The songs where downloaded properly to my computer after I clicked on Reload button under Ubuntu One Preferences dialog for the current PC. I haven't accessed my Ubuntu One account for a while, maybe the download was just taking more time.
