I was affected too, and it was weird... I cleaned just enought disk space. Launched the upgrade and waited (keeping gnome-system-monitor open)
During the decompression of sauerbraten-data, it told me that free space went down to 0 bytes. When switching to the next package free space went up a bit. Then around a kernel related package it went back down to 0 (i remember seeing "depmod" on the "console" while system-monitor first showed 0bytes left) For a while, packages where configured with 0 disk space left. and when it restarted mysql, the console stoped. (I had to remove /var/cache/apt/archive/sauerbraten-data... with "rm" and kill the mysql starting process) the update ended a few minutes ago and the computer is running 10.10 OK as type. But I'm concern by my system's integrity. I hope this will help prevent someone having his updage process frozen as mine was. -- Dist upgrade Install proceeds with insufficient disk space https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/643260 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
