I downloaded the source from here
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/gdecrypt/gdecrypt_0.7.2.2-0ubuntu5.dsc
using dget. I attempted to build the source after correcting the typo
in the control file (debuild -S), but there were some errors while
running lintian and I'm not sure what went wrong. Here are the errors:

E: gdecrypt_0.7.2.2-0ubuntu6_source.changes:
bad-ubuntu-distribution-in-changes-file maverick
W: gdecrypt source: newer-standards-version 3.9.0 (current is 3.8.4)

Can someone elaborate on the error messages?

Also do I have to apply the previous patches to the source prior to
correcting the typo? I executed the what-patch command and the output
was 'unknown patch system'.
