I am unable to reproduce this. Whenever there is more than 1 tab open, on close
Firefox automatically asks if you want to "Save and Quit" among other options.
I assume this is the same for everyone, Maverick (and Lucid LTS for that
matter) work the same with Firefox, so this bug report is being closed.
If it *does* continue to be a problem in a supported release, please reopen
this bug report by changing the status back to New. Thank you.
