Hi, if you're running KDE check your 'Default Application' settings
for gnome, what apport does is the following:
gconftool --get /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http/command
if that is set to firefox* seamonkey* flock* or epiphany* it will try to run
it, if something else is set it tries
gnome-open URL
where I don't know where the setting is stored. If even that fails apport will
fall back to the python 'webbrowser' module and try to open a browser with
that. Can you please check what you gconf key is set to and what happens if you
use gnome-open? Thanks.
