Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
I am running the Kubuntu Maverik 64bit live cd and when I run the installer I
get the following crash report (in the screen right after choosing language -
see print screen)

message, timeout)
DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.
Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the
message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or
the network connection was broken.
One of the logs suggested by the crash handler application - /var/log/partman
is missing in action, it simply does not exist in the live system.
