Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Hello, I just upgraded from Ubutun 10.04 to 10.10 and found that the new Evolution (2.30.3) is super SLOW in start-up (instead of being much faster). I don't understand why it would take much longer time in checking whether there is new E-mail. And it would take _several minutes_ in "Filtering new message(s)" even there is no new(er) messages at all. What's happened? I didn't change any options. Also, all the subscribed directories would disappear without error messages after some time (say, half an hour), I don't know whether it is related to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-exchange/+bug/631395 I have tried the solution there. If it doesn't work, I will report back. Many thanks.
