It seems to me like this would be a bug with the yenta_socket driver or udev more than with NM, especially since drivers are not getting removed...
Unfortunately, it seems that since this bug was reported against network-manager, only NM-specific data is available in the syslog capture that was automatically added. Could you attach a copy of the /var/log/syslog file (possibly removing any sensitive data) after reproducing the issue? Ideally this should be done from a clean boot; and it would help us greatly if you could annotate the log to tell us what action was taken when. To do this, you can follow the steps in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager#Capture%20Log on how to generate a capture log and using 'logger' to add annotations. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- Sony Ericsson PC300 broadband device cannot be used again after ejecting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/576875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
