Please open the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf as root, and add the
following line to the end of the file:
options snd-hda-intel model=acer-aspire-7730g
Save the file, and reboot. Please test to see whether you have sound.
Please also test to see whether the internal speakers are muted when you
connect headphones.
