I am not going to buy a new mouse for a kernel bug that was fixed the day I reported it, 5 weeks + 1 day ago.
Tried a vanilla 2.6.20.4 and the fix is not in it. The fix as been applied in the 2.6.21-rcX series. The kernels I have been using are 2.6.21-rc4 and 2.6.21-rc5 so I have a working mouse. For a while I was using a 2.6.20.X kernel with the patch from that kernel bug report and that also fixed the mouse. Is the fix likely to be applied to the 2.6.20 kernel that ubuntu uses or a move made to 2.6.21 when it is released? -- [Feisty] Middle click fails with no action https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/83571 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
