Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
>From menu select System, Administration, Users and Groups
click "Add" button
create a new user "test" and enter password
click "OK"
without leaving User Settings panel select the new "test" user and click
"Advanced Settings"
select "Advanced tab bar" and change home directory from /home/test to
something else like /x/test
click "OK"
select either "Use Empty Directory" or "Copy Old Files"
close User Settings panel
enter User Settings again
select "test" user and click "Advanced Settings"
select "Advanced tab bar" and Home Directory is showing /home/test and not
/x/test
however if you now change to /x/test again, it does get saved
