So... Does anyone have a workaround for this issue that doesn't require
X11 libraries on the host, doesn't require root password on the host?

This is a real pain... every virtualization solution I have tried on
Ubuntu requires something to be installed I don't want to, X11, root
password etc... Is there not an elegant solution to KVM virtualization
that doesn't have a significant limitation? I'm seriously considering
trying ESXi although it would be far from ideal.
