You need to modify the /etc/fstab file to enable the drive to be mounted
at boot time.  When you are prompted to enter your password to manually
mount the drive, root becomes the owner of the drive.  In the fstab file
you can enter options to set the owner of the drive to whoever you wish
by entering the uid of user.  In a terminal type:

echo $UID

to determine the uid assigned to you on your computer.  Please refer to
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fstab for more info.

Once the file is modified, reboot and the drive should be mounted during
boot.
