This is surely the wrong way to solve the problem, though, because it affects nautilus whenever unity is installed, whether or not unity is actually running. Wouldn't it be better to have unity watch the show_desktop key, and, if it gets set to true, set it back to false, perhaps at the same time as notifying the user in some way that the setting is incompatible with unity?
