Public bug reported:
I have tried using ubuntu-bug to report this but it continually fails
when trying to upload. I have no idea which package is responsible for
this.
Every time I insert a CDROM Ubuntu attempts to mount it as an Audio CD.
It then reports that it isn't an Audio CD and simply gives up. My disc
drive is therefore useless!
This is a brand new, clean install of Ubuntu Lucid AMD64.
To recreate:
1. Insert a CD.
2. Nautilus reports "This is not an Audio CD".
No way round it.
Tried:
sudo mount -t iso9660 -o loop /dev/sr0 /cdrom
but
"mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so"
Drive works fine under Windows XP.
