Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

When starting xchat-gnome, if the user has a nickserv password saved,
the program autojoins channels before identifying the username.

Example:

-NickServ- This nickname is registered. Please choose a different nickname, or
identify via /msg NickServ identify <password>.
 Found your IP: [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
 Unknown MODE flag
#python :Cannot join channel (+r) - you need to be identified with services
-NickServ- You are now identified for pionar.

It should message nickserv before trying to join channels.
