Public bug reported:
This seems to be a bug with changes to the the kernel, if I use kernel
versions 2.6.34 or 35, there is no sound. However, using kernel version
2.6.32, sound works perfectly. The drivers all appear to be reported
correctly by alsa, same as in 2.6.32, but there is no sound. Also, both
Gnome and KDE report "Internal Audio Analog Stereo" as my only sound
card option (rather than HDA Nvidia, which they report in 2.6.32).
Finally, the speakers, but not the headphones, emit a constant buzz.
This is regardless of Independent HP settings in alsamixer.
