Hi In 10.04 system doesn't hang anymore when pressing buttons, etc. But when I run "System Monitor" and select "Resources" tab, usually the system hangs after like 10 seconds. Same happens with all Mint, Fedora (and some other) distros that have the same "System Monitor" application.
Also I have noticed problems with Firefox 4 beta addon manager in 10.04. When I go to it, my system hangs immediately. That manager has some kind of animation which makes my system crash... 10.04 hangs on shutdown too, but that only happens like once a month. I just remembered another case. I was using Swiftfox 3, and was browsing in facebook. I pressed somewhere to open a small message window to send a message to my friend. That window has fade-in (or something) effect and my system crashed immediately. This didn't happen in windows using firefox. But this is not a big problem as I'm not using FB anymore. P.S. My system specs did not change. I have compiz uninstalled. I thought it was the problem. But that didn't help. Also my PC is very stable on Windows. No weird things happening, no crashes.
