Hi Fabio,
Well, perhaps it has been fixed in that newer version. While it no longer
matters to me, because the only time it caused a problem was when I was running
Wine, and Photofiltre under Wine required it for some functions. But I do
believe that other folks could have a problem with it. And I have confirmed
it, again and again. It the "locate" function is enabled, the <CTRL> click
does absorb the CTRL key, but apparently ONLY under certain conditions. This
makes it even more strange. Because as you found, the <CTRL>+<ALT>+F1/F7 did
seem to work properly, but it is definitely absorbed in Evolution's address
selection, and that is a function that I DO use a lot, because my idiot ISP
will not allow mailing lists over 7 addresses, because they claim it is "spam
prevention". So I don't really need it, but I'm sure some other conditions will
need it for other folks. I might add that <dirty word> Windoze does NOT absorb
CTRL key, as back when I was running Windoze, I did use Photofiltre, and it
worked properly.
