This is another "Me too" comment.
The only bit of info I can provide is that both the VMware Player as
well as VMWare Workstation menu bar disappears, but the menu does not
appear in the Appmenu Area.
Perhaps a quick fix would be do blacklist VMware, until a more permanent
solution can be found, or at least keep the menu bar visible in VMware
somehow.
