Is this problem present with the latest updated Karmic's, Lucid's or Maverick's

I use dual sreen with my laptop (Asus A7JC) and a LCD screen (HP L2245w). When
I launch the dual sreen the HP LCD sreen flickering. My graphic card is a M56P
