Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

Openoffice (tested with writer and spreadsheet) has no buttons to close,
maximize or minimize in the toolbar where they should be when it is
opened using a terminal. (see screenshot)

$ openoffice.org
or
$ xdg-open test.odt

A workaround is to switch to another application and then back to OO to
make them appear. Otherwise they never appear.

This is on Ubuntu 10.10 UNR.
