This bug has not been updated for a long time, the gnome system tools
are much more appropriate place for this kind of request, and hal-
device-manager is simply not supposed to be a command center (it's a
hardware debugging tool).
Discussions about major redesign should happen upstream.
Therefore I am closing this bug now, otherwise it would just sit around
forever without any perspective.
