@Benjamin, "Esc" just as your machine begins to boot (post-BIOS) should bring up the Grub menu and allow you to temporarily switch kernels for one boot, to test.
To switch permanently, I just uninstalled the 2.6.35 kernel. I'm sure you can permanently change the Grub boot order though.
