Jeremy, I tried the latest upstream kernels... linux-image-2.6.35-02063506-generic_2.6.35-02063506.201009271105_i386.deb linux-image-2.6.35-02063507-generic_2.6.35-02063507.201009290909_i386.deb linux-image-2.6.36-020636rc1-generic_2.6.36-020636rc1.201008171306_i386.deb and... linux-image-2.6.36-020636rc7-generic_2.6.36-020636rc7.201010070908_i386.deb
but all had the same result...black bars on either side of the screen. The kernel update that I took shortly after installation (2.6.35-22.34) did not solve my resolution problem either. This is on a Maverick Final 32bit install. I'm presently running an old Maverick kernel image... linux-image-2.6.35-6-generic_2.6.35-6.9_i386.deb which works perfectly...full screen resolution...no black bars. If I can be of any further assistance then please contact me. Thank you for your interest and efforts.
