I've also tried the CLUTTER_VBLANK=none command and I think it worked just fine. This is on a aspire one zg5. Only problem when I tried to make it permanent it sais acces denied. "sudo echo "CLUTTER_VBLANK=none" >> /etc/X11/Xsession.d/10unity.quirks bash: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/10unity.quirks: Toegang geweigerd" (the latest meaning acces denied) I checked the folder but the file isn't there also not after a restart tried to put the file there myself but that didn't help either. Probably something small but if someone could help me out I think it will work again..
