I know, I know but instead of restarting X or at least showing the
terminal it hangs and doesn't react to the shutdown button or ctrl + F1
or something like that.

I was happy to early. The external screen works fine without any special
configuration except that CRT line but my internal doesn't work anymore
in X. It doesn't find the mode 1366x768. With the old driver there was
no need for 915resolution, it works out of the box. But if I use
915resolution with the modsettings driver it doesn't help anyway for the
internal. Isn't it possible to not uninstall the i810 driver so the
modsettings driver has another name like i810mod or something like that?
So I could use two different xorg configuration files.
